Day 18

Off to see the geneticist this morning. He said that there appeared to be no genetic inherited problem and that Evelyn's disease was chance.

Evelyn has been trying lots of new girl outfits which she has been given!

Hello sweetie pie! Happy Wednesday! Ahhh...so many pretty outfits! That is the advantage of being the only girl...no hand-me-downs! Victor's dad is one of ten and always says that til the corduroys got to him they were smooth! Just wanted to tell you that I am praying for you and thinking of your right this very minute! Do you feel all the love, hugs, and prayers being sent your way? Love, Sylvia xoxoxo

Brian and Elizabeth...me again. My cousin Mary Beth and her husband Rob gave birth to their first daughter Hope who was born with the similiar dx as Evelyn...
Hope is now six and though she needs constant care, she is the love of their lives and also the lives of her three younger sisters!
They were aware of her dx and were begged to abort but refused and were told she would only live days... they gave her life in hope that her other organs would save another child....the doctors are somewhat baffled by her survival. She did survive the surgery though after birth and her defect was in the front...her forehead. We never know what God's plan will be. Our constant prayer is with you. Thank you for being such a witness to love. Love, Sylvia

I am praying, too. Thank you for sharing her beautiful pictures online. She is such a little treasure.
